This guide only applied for cPanel server (exabytes Indonesia). The issue arise when customer wants to add domain to cPanel but the error appear. It is because the DNS server not pointed to our server. In order to fix this, we should bypass the system first. Error messages appear like this :
Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.
How to Fix?
- Go to WHM panel
- Search “tweak” > click Tweak Settings
- Click Domains
- Take a look at Allow Remote Domains
- Tick On
- click Save
Wait for some minutes, and then try to add domains again.
Add Domains in cPanel
- Login as cPanel user
- search Domains
- On list of domains Create new domain
- Enter the domain name (TLD)
- Untick Share document root
- click Submit
You are good to go.
