Install CSF Firewall on WHM

This guide refer to how to install CSF firwall under cPanel or WHM. Before installing CSF, make sure you remove all firewalls ie. firewalld. Remove it first or stop it. Make sure iptables is installed under existed server.

service firewalld stop
chkconfig firewalld off

Install CSF

cd /usr/local/src
wget https://download.configserver.com/csf.tgz
tar -xvpzf csf.tgz
cd csf
sh install.cpanel.sh

Verify

Go to WHM and search under firewall and select ConfigServer Security & Firewall.

First Time Setup

Remove test mode first. Go to ConfigServer Security & Firewall.

Go to Firewall Configuration. Set TESTING = OFF.
