Cybersite: How to Add FTP Account Serv-U
This guide only applicable for Cybersite (CS) customer that does no have control panel hosting, using Windows 2003 server and Serv-U FTP software. Refer to this Exabytes Windows Server for your reference.
Serv-U software can be found on taskbar low right with green colour with U font visible. Right click and you will see the interface menu.
Then click Setup > Users.
To add FTP user, click New and input new username. Don’t use username too long. But don’t too short also.

Define password
Don’t too use symbol complex. It is old Windows Server. Use passwordgenerator to generate new password. I usually use 9-12 characters with alpha numeric with upcase and lowcase.
Define Home Directory
Just click browse and find it’s home directory. The initial path should be d:\webxxx\domain\
Define file/directory Access Rules
Define the file/directory path file and access rule as well. See below for your reference. After that click OK
Once finished, now try to login to new FTP. Done.
