HOW TO SETUP SSL FOR SITE FROM COMODO Essential SSL Certificate

If you receive request from Billing to Setup SSL on email subject :

FW: ORDER #xxxxxx – Your EssentialSSL Certificate for xxxxxxxx

What you have to do first is locate the domain using dig or nslookup. If the domain under Plesk Linux :

Login to the Plesk –> Locate the Domain –> SSL/TLS Setting –> Add SSL/TLS Certificate

Upload the Certificate by fill out .crt, .key, and ca.crt :

From the email, it will give you the CRT and Private Key.

For .CRT, please put the CRT on the “Certificate (*.crt)”
For .KEY, please put the .KEY on the “Private key (*.key)”

For CA certificate (*-ca.crt), you will need to open the ZIP that on attachment. Choose COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt and then upload it.
