Migrate cPanel to Plesk

This guide will show you how to migrate cPanel to Plesk subscription. Yes, it is possible to migrate cPanel to Plesk, you just need to make sure Plesk has installed Plesk migrator first. At least you must own VPS server for Plesk.

In this case we will mark cPanel as customer previous hosting, and Plesk as customer new hosting. So basically customer wants to migrate to Plesk.

Disclaimer

You need root password of cPanel server before proceed to migrate to Plesk. If you dont have cPanel root passwd, so migrate it manually.

Install Plesk Migrator on new server

Make sure you install Plesk migrator on new server. Go to Tools & Settings > Updates & Upgrades.

Start New Migration

Go to Tools & Settings > Migrator > Choose panel type as cPanel > Address of cPanel cust’s server > root login > Use authorisation password > Fill correct SSH port > set temp directory to /root/plesk_migrator

Migrate by : Subscription > Search subscription main domain > Choose by select to right side > Choose what content that wants to be migrated. ie. Website only, or with Emails. Then click Migrate.
